The Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Upper KS2 / KS3 English Teacher (full-time). The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher with strong motivational, communication, leadership and administrative skills and will have the ambition and drive to help the Preparatory School to continue its impressive development.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A high level of knowledge of teaching methods and relevant curriculum
  • Be skilled at getting maximum efforts and excellent results from the pupils at all levels
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Good planning and time management skills
  • The ability to use IT systems to record, analyse and report data
  • The ability to teach pupils to Scholarship and Common Entrance level in English
  • A willingness to be involved in the co-curricular life of the school

The Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Marketing Assistant. Working closely with the Registrar, this is an outstanding opportunity for someone with energy, passion and enthusiasm. The role would suit someone looking to gain broad experience in all aspects of marketing and communications.

Key Responsibilites

  • Championing and growing the Shrewsbury House School brand in new and exiting ways. Supporting with the creation and roll-out of impactful and engaging marketing campaigns including advertising, PR and digital marketing
  • Design and create advertising material for social and print campaigns for general marketing requirements and Admissions events
  • Photograph / film main events and day to day activities that can be showcased on social media

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proven ability to create good social media content
  • Experience editing websites
  • The ability to think creatively, work independently when required and be proactive
