Shrewsbury House School Trust Joins St Paul's School Group
Shrewsbury House School Trust is delighted to announce that it is now a founding member of the St Paul’s School Group, a partnership of leading not-for-profit schools committed to delivering exceptional education.This exciting collaboration builds on our long-standing relationship with St Paul’s School, one of the UK’s leading boys’ schools, alongside Durston House School, Ealing. The Group will support the creation of a Research Centre for the Education of Boys, sharing evidence-based teaching practices while ensuring each school keeps its unique identity, leadership and ethos.
This partnership enhances opportunities for both boys and girls, giving pupils access to expanded resources, expertise, and experiences. They will learn in an environment shaped by the highest academic expectations, while developing confidence, kindness and resilience. Friendship Bench

This week we’ve had a new addition to our playground. A Friendship Bench which has been kindly bought by The Friends of The Rowans. It teaches empathy, prevents social isolation, and helps shy or new students build confidence during break times. A very big thank you from Miss Fookes on behalf of all the children and staff for this lovely donation. |
Macmillan Coffee Morning

The Macmillan Coffee Morning, organised by the Friends of the Rowans, was a wonderful opportunity to come together again while raising money for such a worthwhile charity. The cake sale this afternoon was a big success. Thank you to The Friends for organising and hosting this wonderful event. |
Year 2 Hampton Court Palace

On Thursday, Year Two visited Hampton Court Palace to find our about life at Tudor Court. They had fun exploring the kitchens and seeing how the Tudors used to store and cook their food. They also explored Henry VIII’s apartments and some of the children even sat in the chairs in King Henry's council chambers! |
Summer Fair!

It was wonderful to see so many family, friends and new joiners to the school at our Summer Fair. What a happy and jolly atmosphere there was as we all came together to round off the year. We extend our gratitude to The Friends of The Rowans and those parents who helped in the planning and on the day, to make it such a success! |
Take a Chance day

On Wednesday the children were encouraged to step out of their comfort zone and try something new, as they prepare to move up and move on to their new classes. |
