On Wednesday morning, members of the three Trust schools gathered for the Year 1 Music Festival, hosted at Shrewsbury House School in Surbiton. This was a fantastic occasion and full of energetic singing. Members of The Rowans and Shrewsbury House Pre-Prep were joined by the Shrewsbury House School Junior Choir in a joint performance of ‘Do-Re-Mi’, from The Sound of Music.
The Year 1 children excelled themselves in singing Samba Lele, a Brazilian folk song, beautifully. Mrs Luyendijk, our Music Teacher, was very proud of them, as were all of the Year 1 teachers and the families who attended.
