The highlight of the week was undoubtedly World Book Day. The children came in such imaginative costumes and the character explosion activity saw them mixing across year groups to share their wonderfully creative ideas. The workshops with Petr Horacek were simply inspirational. With a new book launched that day, previously unseen by the public, The Rowans children were the first to hear it and were enthralled by the story and illustrations. They then created their own illustrations and the results of their collaborative artwork will be on permanent display in the Hall for everyone to enjoy.
