The Role of Parents

We recognise the important role that parents and carers play in their child’s development and we work in partnership to ensure that your child’s school life is happy and that they thrive academically.

Curriculum evenings, parents’ evenings and drop-in sessions are held throughout the academic year to ensure that parents/carers are kept up-to-date and involved with their child’s learning experience at The Rowans.

We encourage parents/carers to tell us about their children’s experiences outside school through their child’s learning journey and parents/carers are encouraged to join in with topic work through visits and talks, as well as joining outings.

Throughout your child’s time at The Rowans, you will find that our open door policy underpins our collaborative approach, and we place great importance on working with families to ensure each child is supported and encouraged to fulfill their potential.
