Many happy memories were made at The Rowans on Wednesday as we celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a day of dancing through the decades of her reign. As I have reflected on with many parents in conversation at the school gate, it is these moments that stay with us all as a school community and it really is such a privilege to play a part of creating that. So a big thank you to you all, parents, for your enthusiasm and support with the wonderful costumes and attendance at the Grand Finale, and to the staff for their energy and creativity when planning the day. As well as their dance workshops, the children also had great fun in class whether they were creating their own crowns, constructing the millennium dome, making disco balls or taking part in the mannequin challenge .
