The Rowans School Welcomes Critical Worker Children

The Rowans School opened for children in Kindergarten, children of critical workers and distance learning this week. It has been wonderful to welcome the children to the Spring Term and see how engaged they are with their learning.

Home-Start Merton

Your generosity abounds as Home-Start Merton have received over 700 gifts, many from families at The Rowans for them to wrap and distribute this Christmas. An enormous thanks to all of you for thinking of others and helping families to enjoy the festive season.


We were treated to some super musical performances this week as more  children put themselves forwards to play in assembly. We are keen to give as many performance opportunities as possible -do keep up the practice sessions at home.

Christmas Decorations

The children were thrilled to arrive in school to find their classrooms decorated this week! During the week, they have each contributed to the decorations and have had great fun spotting their own photos hidden round the classroom.


We are very proud to share the Year 1 and 2 LAMDA  results with you which arrived this week. Every child passed with Merit or Distinction and over half of each year group was awarded the highest grade.
