Children in Need

The whole School went dotty today to support Children in Need.  House Captains were delighted to collect your very generous donations and we have raised an amazing £396.60. Well done everyone!

Dentist visits Reception

As part of their topic on ‘People who help us,’ Reception benefitted from an informative visit from a dentist who explained how the children should look after their teeth and what to expect when they visit their own dentist.

Year 1 Aboriginal Workshop

Year One enjoyed an inspiring Aboriginal workshop this week learning about traditional paintings and patiently creating their own works of art.

Year 1 Remembrance Assembly

Year One gave a very moving performance during their Remembrance Assembly, sharing poems and songs with the audience with impressive maturity.

UK Parliament Week

School Council began by introducing UK Parliament Week in a special  assembly. What an appropriate time to share information about our   electoral system! The children showed that they are very well informed and will be watching the developments in the country over the next few weeks.

Governor visit

We enjoyed another Governor visit to our School this week; the children were proud to show all their work and activities. These opportunities give the children meaningful practise in developing their communication skills and were are very grateful to the  Governors for giving their time to meeting the children.

Reception Harvest Assembly

In Assembly this week, the children enjoyed a performance from Reception who shared their Harvest Concert with us. We reflected on why we celebrate harvest at this time of year and many children were able to report that they have donated food to a local food bank. Reception children then went on to perform to …
