Aladdin!

At the start of the week, Year 2 delighted their parents with their performances of Aladdin. The standard of their singing, acting and the confidence shown by all was truly amazing.

This morning, Miss Fookes hosted a breakfast for the Friends of the Rowans. It was lovely to meet together and discuss all the wonderful events that have taken place this year. We are ever so grateful for all they have done over the year.

Green Day!

Today has been our annual Green Day, and what a great day for it! The theme this year was ‘Planet vs Plastics’. We had two of our Year group on outings with Year 1 enjoying a day on Wimbledon Common and Year 2 at Bushcraft

Kindergarten Outing to Deen City Farm!

On Tuesday our Kindergarten went along to visit Deen City Farm and meet the wonderful animals they have, taking it in turns feeding and petting the animals.

Shrewsbury House Football Festival

It was such a delight to see some of our Year 1 and 2 children attend the Shrewsbury House Football Festival last Saturday. The children played very well and it was lovely to see how well they all worked as a team.

Great Fire of London Workshop

Year 1 enjoyed a special workshop to bring their learning about The Great Fire of London to life. The children loved watching The Great Fire of London puppet show and enjoyed making their own shadow puppets.

Mrs Hubbard’s visit!

On Tuesday Mrs Hubbard made one of her regular visits to see the children happily engaged in their learning. The children were all so keen to show her what they were learning about and it was lovely to see their confidence in sharing this.

Reception outing to Battersea Zoo

The children learnt lots of facts about the different requirements animals have to ensure that they are healthy and happy.
