Mental Health Awareness Week

We started our week with an assembly to introduce Mental Health Awareness Week, where we talk about things that are good for our mental health and things that we can do to feel better if we are feeling sad or other uncomfortable emotions, such as ‘frustrated’ or ‘worried’. Some ideas included spending time with people who are special to us, being active and getting a good night’s sleep. Wednesday was ‘Wellbeing Wednesday’ and the children learnt a new wellbeing tool for their kit, ‘resting with Music’.
