We enjoyed many excellent performances in the House Poetry Competition. The children had put great effort into choosing a poem to represent this year’s theme of ‘things that make you feel great’, with many becoming poets and writing their own! Popular topics included family, The Rowans and football. The children performed for their year group and were judged on their familiarity with the poem, their use of expression and having a clear, confident voice. Congratulations to the winners who received their prizes in today’s assembly.
