Today has been our annual Green Day, which this year took on the theme ‘Restore our Earth’. Kindergarten and Reception enjoyed having our school site to themselves this morning for their activities. Kindergarten were kept busy caring for their visiting caterpillars while the Reception children were visited by a Beekeeper. Year 1 enjoyed a beautiful morning on the Common visiting the Rangers Stables and hunting for minibeasts before making ‘the big walk’ back to school for the afternoon, which included a very special event of planting a new Rowan tree within our school grounds!
