We were delighted to open our refurbished Sports Court in the Autumn Term, much to the joy of the children who are already enjoying the fantastic, first class Matchplay II sports carpet. Thanks to the fantastic new sports carpet, the court now provides extra stability, support and safety for the wide range of sports the children play.
Children at The Rowans School take part in Games and PE lessons every week covering football, tag rugby, hockey, basketball, netball, cricket and tennis as well as dance, gymnastics, athletics and fitness sessions. They play in fixtures and tournaments against other schools and will now be able to host even more sports events on home ground thanks to this fantastic new Sports Court. Head, Joanna Hubbard, said, “This is a first class facility which will greatly enhance the sporting provision at The Rowans School. We look forward to developing future athletes and hosting many fixtures and workshops so that other children can also benefit from our excellent sports court.”
