This week Year 2 visited Hampton Court Palace. The children explored life at the Tudor Court and made comparisons with their own lives. Let’s Walk to School
Our Junior Travel Ambassadors spoke in assembly on Monday to share their ‘Let’s walk to school’ challenge with the school. They are delighted with the uptake this week with the challenge continuing next week as well!
Harvest Festival
Reception wowed their parents today with a wonderful Harvest performance of The Enormous Turnip. After less than five weeks in school they showed such confidence and enjoyment on the stage.
National Poetry Day
On Thursday, the school was buzzing with the sound of poetry and counting. As part of this year’s National Poetry Day theme of counting, the children created wonderful tautograms about animals. A tautogram is a poem where every word in the line begins with the same letter.
MacMillan Coffee Morning
The Macmillan Coffee Morning was a wonderful opportunity to come together again while raising money for such a worthwhile charity. The sale was a big success. Thank you to The Friends for organising and hosting this wonderful event!

Year 1 Outing to Wimbledon Town
Year One took a walking tour of Wimbledon town centre to see different landmarks and spot the different types of housing that they are investigating in their Topic lessons. The children had a great time exploring.
Jeans for Genes
The children were delighted to support Jeans for Genes today as they arrived at school sporting a slightly different uniform! The House Captains have collected your generous donations which totalled a fantastic £405.95! This will be sent to the charity and thank you to all for your support.
