Building on their work on classification, the Year 1 children started to think about different habitats for different animals. As part of this topic, they had a very exciting visit from The Animal Man on Thursday, where they enjoyed meeting and learning about a variety of animal species. Following on from the Animal Man’s visit, they will explore animals and their habitats in greater detail next week.
